Admissions Process

This page guides prospective parents through the school’s application and admissions process.

Please contact [email protected] for all admissions enquiries. We will arrange for Mrs Cain (Registrar) to contact you and talk you through the process.

  1. Stage 1 Contact is made with the school, prospective parents are invited to come and meet the Headteacher and tour the school.
  2. Stage 2 A registration form is completed and sent to the Registrar with a non-refundable £50 registration fee. Parents will receive a letter from the Registrar acknowledging this.
  3. Stage 3 Approximately 6 months prior to starting, parents will be contacted by the Registrar to confirm their interest in the place offered by the school. Parents will be sent a Contract Acceptance Form (incorporating the school’s terms and conditions) which must be signed and a deposit for £500 paid.
  4. Stage 4 Once a place has been confirmed and accepted, all relevant joining information will be sent. A place may be reserved for a maximum of two terms.
  5. Stage 5 Prior to the child starting, the Headteacher will write a letter to the child’s previous school, if applicable, to ensure that all disbursements have been met and also request a copy of his/her and reports.

Additional Information

Class sizes do not usually rise above 20 (in special circumstances we may admit to a maximum of 21), but if a class is full, parents will be advised about waiting lists and offered the opportunity to put their child on that list until a place becomes available. Siblings of children already at the school will be given priority admission from a waiting list, with all other applicants being ordered on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.

Children can be admitted at any stage throughout the school, providing spaces are available. All admissions are at the discretion of the Headteacher in accordance with the school’s admissions policy, legal requirements and signed copies of the school’s terms and conditions and parent contract.

A prospective child may have a taster day at the school at any time, in agreement and by arrangement with the Headteacher.
