The health and wellbeing of the pupils is of huge importance to us here at Alleyn Court and we understand that good nutrition is vital to help the children achieve their best both in and out of school. We are proud of our long-standing relationships with all our local food suppliers. All our food is made fresh, from scratch, every day.
We aim to always serve delicious and nutritious food, striving to use seasonal fruit and vegetables whenever possible. There is always a large and varied salad bar available at lunch. We guide the pupils and staff to adopt a healthier diet by using lean cut meat and only using rape seed and olive oils in our cooking. My team and I are proud to use the best ingredients to the produce the best quality food.
The school also offers an Early Morning Provision, with breakfast, for pupils to enjoy a nutritious and filling breakfast to set them up their day at school. This runs from 7:30am at the Thorpe Bay site only.
