Year 2 have been learning about life in the past and making comparisons of how the Victorians lived over 100 years ago and how we live our lives today. We were very surprised to discover that the Victorians only had a bath once a week and that they used a tin bath in the kitchen! We learned how the Victorians
had to fill a jug with cold water from the pump and then heat it on the range.
Then we all pretended to be Victorian children and climbed into a real Victorian tin bath – it was a bit uncomfortable but so much fun!
