Year 2 have been immersed in their Owl topic. We have read Owl Babies by Martin Waddell and numerous non-fiction texts to find out interesting facts about real owls. The children have completed home projects and made their own owl babies from pompoms as well as sock owls! We completed this topic with a fabulous visit from owlsRus. The children had the opportunity to find out about the many different owls that came to visit as well as ask the experts numerous questions. It was a hoot.
